Thanks Lifes_Lessons. You have just reminded me of seeing the street artists at work on the London pavements. They could really produce some spectacular work in different colour chalks. Brings back old memories. I have never seen it done in sand tho.

Delighted to make your acquaintance at last Philip. I have very good friend that visits our blogs and she was slightly concerned about I talking to an ostrich. When I pointed out you were an emu, she was happy enough...lol. I think it's a great picture. always nice to hear from you.

Thanks Joe. It has the look of someone who is an enquirer but is often puzzled by what he finds, which sums me up. Its when you talk just to yourself your friend should worry!

hi phillip...I liked your explanation of the emu's face (ostrich for me)...you should know that joe's friend talks to herself all the time and that she is not worried in the least...others might be puzzled when they hear her...but that is ok...nice to meet you..

Wonderful. I've never seen a sand painting done like that before. I think I remember them being done on pavements in London when I was a lad. Thanks.
